Crashing on Loadup: (0.2.4.1) (24-04-2017) and (0.2.5) (04-06-2017) #45

Try the new test version that was released recently. If that doesn't work
try scanning and repairing your WoW installation through the Battle.net
launcher (sometimes files get corrupted, WoW fixes this itself when it
encounters them).
If -that- doesn't work then let me know and I'll have a closer look when
I'm home.

I'm not sure if it's conflicting with a WoW update or not, and sadly I've
made no alterations to the files beyond that (if there was one that I
wasn't aware of) so I'm not sure what's happening.
I've tried reinstalling and changing my root files, running as admin and
without.
A friend of mine is also suffering from this issue, so I suppose I take
comfort in the fact that it isn't just me experiencing this:
I load up the exporter as admin. It begins to load up, and suddenly stops
responding - I get the typical 'X program has stopped responding' error box
from Windows, and then it closes itself.

Hey, I'd like to second this, I hope it's not a hardware issue. All version cause the crash, when loading from online or from a directory, also tested to make sure it wasn't an admin issue. |
Is it already loading files? If so, what's the last thing it shows in the
progress bar?

Only thing I can think of is maybe it's the 4.6.2 .net framework that's
causing the crash?

Does "View problem details" show any more information?

It hangs on 'loading WoW from web' for about 30 seconds, then the crash
window pops up.
So you can boot the program, and you can choose online or local files, but
once it tries to load the files it crashes.

I have similiar problem here with version 0.2.5.0, It occurs at the 100% pecentage of Loading "root", |
Could you try replacing the CASCLib.dll file in the folder with this one?
https://marlamin.com/u/CascLib.dll
I think that should fix the issue on all versions. Let me know if it works!
