Do you know that Purism SPC @seandiggity is looking for volunteer to code a native Signal client in Gtk for Librem 5 ?

I'm actively recruiting volunteer devs for a native Signal / Signal-like client in Gtk, in the hopes that we can bring it to the @purism Librem 5 phone. Please contact sean.obrien@puri.sm if interested.

Which protocol is currently supported? Perhaps it could be described in the README?

@JohnD28 I don't want to code in Gtk but in Qt/QML. I contact them but thank you for the info.

@petterreinholdtsen None, this currently just a UI.

Aha, right. Perhaps you can learn something from <URL: https://github.com/nanu-c/textsecure-qml >, which is an implementation of the protocol.
