Marvell OpenWrt releases

Marvell OpenWrt releases are based on mainline OpenWrt project. Marvell OpenWrt support adds minimal amount of changes to the mainline project in order to provide the easiest integration. In the openwrt-bb git repository you will find mainline OpenWrt 14.07 (BB) branch and other branches with Marvell extensions.

The mainline branch is called master while the Marvell branch, where the the Marvell integration has been done, is called openwrt-14.07-15t1.0. Lets explain this a bit further. The 14.07 marks obviously the OpenWrt version. Then 15t1 marks the Marvell kernel version. Finally we have a number at the is the release number.

On other repositories where appropriate we use the same naming convention. The best example for this would be the openwrt-kernel git repository. As explained in other documents Marvell builds are using external kernel. Due to similar work-flow the mentioned git repository contains some additional kernel patches which are required by OpenWrt.
