Can I consume a raw or empty body message using MassTransit?

Saying I am publishing the following message through RMQ console:

How can I consume this message using MassTransit?

I was receiving a Json related error and I am not sure if JSON format is mandatory for MassTransit.

Short answer, string is not a valid message format. Messages are usually serialized into a format such as XML or JSON (or AVRO, etc.).
