  • MQTT broker running
  • Hardware interface with the AC setup to use your MQTT broker
    • /!\ beware, Gysmo38's Mitsubishi2MQTT implementation won't work because it's specific to HomeAssistant.

        // connect to the heatpump. Callbacks first so that the hpPacketDebug callback is available for connect()
        hp.setSettingsChangedCallback(hpSettingsChanged);
        hp.setStatusChangedCallback(hpStatusChanged);
        hp.setPacketCallback(hpPacketDebug);
        // vvv theses lines should be added to prevent unsync if you use remote
        hp.enableAutoUpdate();
        hp.enableExternalUpdate();
      • Compile and upload the program

Configuration

Field Information
MQTT Server address IP of your MQTT broker
Port Port of your MQTT broker
Login MQTT broker login (if needed)
Password MQTT broker password (if needed)
Remote temperature device ID Set this with the temperature sensor device Idx if you want to use one of your domoticz temperature device instead of the heatpump internal sensor
Domoticz base url Required for "Remote temperature device ID" usage. Used to get the temperature value from the web API. Should be something like http://127.0.0.1:8080. Requires to setup the authentication bypass for local networks in domoticz Settings > System.
Don't send remote temp after being unseen for X minutes If the temperature device value exceeds this delay, the heatpump will be set to use its internal sensor
Heatpump MQTT topic MQTT topic the ESP has been programmed with (heatpump by default)
Debug When true the logging level will be much higher to aid with troubleshooting
