Closing this now, since the spec is at v1.0.0-rc.1 and a new checklist or GitHub project should be created to track the new progress.
Of the remaining two points, the one concerning the LENGTH implementation is the most crucial. The other point has been fulfilled continuously for various PRs. Indeed, this point should be most crucial for v1 of this package.
