MathCouple/README.md

For now, I'm not where I want to be. But I'll play your role with everything I have until I succeed. You can contact me at any place between medium and consultant level. It's not the usual CV that you are accustomed to reading. I have clear objectives. So take your time and read what is below:

Btw, I didn't write it using GPT or any Artificial Intelligence. Would it be transparent like I am? Maybe. But this one I wrote. I promise.

You first have to know that I'm more than qualified to excel in: Data Engineering (without machine learning, just concepts and zero application. didn't want to focus time here for now). Software Engineering (Backend mainly). QA Testing and DevOps (Cloud AWS mainly). I have skills in Bash, Powershell, C, C++, Java, and focused on Python. About python, everything that you can think of. From setting up resource allocation to CPU dealing directly in the buffer to print("hello world"). I'm curious, so you can expect that I have more than enough on low-level computing and high-end solutions.

To survive in this Computing business world, I got proficient at:

  • Patterns and Design principles like:

    • TDD, OOP, MVVM, SOLID.
    • Checkpoint code.
    • Observability (I like to think in terms of Prometheus)
    • Versioning (GIT and GITHUB)
    • Schedulling (Usually Airflow)
  • On Big Data, I had the opportunity to work in a lab building and maintaining from scratch in the produce realm:

    • Distributed System configuration (yes, almost from scratch. Did you ever try to link a slave to a master manually? even on different servers? Yes. I did. Thank you, Python and Bash)
    • And then we can work with Apache to make our lives easy:
    • Spark, NiFi, Hadoop (and anything that you can think of... ofc not everything, I'm kidding. But I learn as fast as you in bed... to sleep. However, only if you are fast)
    • Manual memory controlling,
  • But you have to know: in order to be good at Big Data and Near-Real-time processing, I also specialized in low and medium-end data solutions:

    • Pandas, Dask, Polaris. I used them all. Polaris almost nothing. Pandas the most. It's my best. I can run your life through pandas. Now, if it'll take an eternity to run it's not with me: Batch processing is the key!
  • Relational and Non-Relational Database:

    • It's almost all the same, if you include sharding, pooling, and some concepts.
    • I'm kidding. If it is all the same, how can you put an application to run near real-time PETABYTES of data in your SQLite? It's almost the same thing as you getting 1k lines annually in a small business to analyze using Hive. Did you lose your mind?
    • Worked with: Star-Schema, Data Vault 2.0 (Recently).
    • And DBA proficient? Yes. But in PostgreSQL and Hadoop under the covers. Tuning, Config, Monitoring, and etc. I'll deliver basically anything. That's all you need to know. And I can get this stack wider. I like to think as a Problem Solver. Not a Tool User.
    • Also, a lot of Discrete Math Optimizations (You might know better as Group Theory, DB Normalization...)
  • About Business, it's also important for you to know:

    • I work as a Leader, because I'm not at my place yet. If you're my "leader inside the bubble", I'll do enough of what you want me to do. Values? Don't worry, we probably "share" all:
      • Empathy, Friendship, Sportive Family, Love, Dedication, and most of all, Loyalty.

  • About Salary and Payment:

    • Show me what you have. I'll take a medium in the market, probably removing outliers in Glassdoor and using it as a base. You're on that? So let's go.
  • Experience - almost half a decade in Process Engineering and Software Engineering:

  • 2021 - 2023 2 full years at the Biggest bank in Latin America: Itaú Unibanco start of my journey. Working as a Process Engineer in an Internship. More than 600h of Conceptual and on-hands training. Process Mapping, Lean Methodologies, and a lot more. There are 4 high-value delivers that I'll be happy to share in the interview!

  • 2023 - Present: Implementing a Data Culture as a Consultant in a newly-founded Tech Company. Working as Head of Data Engineering in a team of 4 members: 1 Manager, 1 Senior, 1 Software Engineer, and me.

Courses (100% scholarship for all of them):

  • Data Engineer Specialization - ADA BRAZIL & SANTANDER INTERNATIONAL.
  • Physics Bachelor in progress - UFABC BRAZIL.
  • Science and Technology Bachelor in progress - UFABC BRAZIL.
  • Associate Degree in Cybersecurity in progress - UNINTER INTERNATIONAL.
  • Portuguese is my native language. I'm BRAZILIAN ("A cobra vai fumar"). English is where I'm also proficient. You can classify me as C2 or almost at it. I know the basics in Russian, Spanish, and Italian, most of all in Spanish.

Me, in summary:

  • Low-cost solutions. High-level and creative solutions. Fast learner.
