A simple app for finding the perfect pet to adopt!

Installation

Step 1: clone repo & cd into project

Step 2: Install dependencies

yarn install

Step 3: If Android

yarn android

Step 4: If iOS

yarn ios

Tests

Jest is used for testing

yarn test

Todo

• Add functionality for removing animals from Saved list
• Refresh animals list in Search to see more / new animals
• Form validation in Settings
• Add functionality for viewing both types of animals (cat & dog)
• Load all images in Saved when adding to Saved array for performance
• Push view up when keyboard is visible

Known issues

• If changing animal preference after swiping, some animals will appear missing
