Currently, the BotForceRandomizer does not assign an individual or commander initiative bonus to units. If this option is being used in the campaign, this will make the player's forces have a distinct advantage. I should figure out a way to randomize this in a sensible way.

This may be relevant. As far as I am aware, the only two "combat relative" things that are not randomly spawned on enemy pilots is leadership abilities and edge. (I guess you could say toughness too but thats kinda dead).
(MHQ will spawn leadership abilities for player purchaseable market pilots but not opfor pilots. But might be able to borrow that code).
So, if randomly generated opfor Vet+ pilots could have a chance to spawn with those things (with all edge triggers enabled) then if the player has those options enabled they would have a combat effect.
