• Tweeten's installer on Windows is now down to ~40MB from ~160MB 🎉
• Tweeten now supports delta updates for major updates and patches, which means you can now update to the latest version of Tweeten in seconds. Like Flash ⚡
• Tweeten now checks for updates in the background, so when you are running the app for hours and there's a new update released, you can get it installed instantly without having to restart the app to check for updates ✨
• The update system is now more reliable and less prone to crashing 🙌
• Tweeten should now once again be functional on older versions of macOS (e.g. 10.9.5) 😌

Tweeten 4.5

Tweeten 4.5 comes out today. And there are a lot of new things:

• Say hello to Tweeten Black: A beautiful new dark theme that is full of deep blacks, offering a super sexy tweeting experience that you won't get anywhere else. Now on Tweeten. For free.
• A new onboarding experience: Completely rebuilt from the ground up, the login and start-up experience for the app has been revamped with a vibrant new design.
• Settings: A re-organized settings app, with sub-sections, make it much quicker to find the exact customization options you're looking for.
• Direct Messages: You can now download private images on DMs. Privacy features such as the ability to blur messages and hide other info on the DM column are once again available.
• Patching: Tweeten can now automatically update itself to apply patches when there's a breaking TweetDeck bug, meaning you no longer have to manually download updates from the site. Oh, and, when something is broken and we are aware of the issue, you will be notified on the splash screen of the app so you can rest assured and don't bug us about the broken things while we are busy focusing on fixing it.
• Tweeten is now a single instance application by default, but you can enable multiple instances from settings if you'd like.
• macOS users: Tweeten will no longer bug you about moving the app to the applications folder, and fail to do so when you allow it. Yes, Tweeten can now properly move itself to the applications folder. Finally.
• Design tweaks for the dark and light themes, plus a lot of minor UI fixes throughout the app.

• Tweeten is now fully responsive and works beautifully even when you make the window narrow.
• Replaced TweetDeck's new rounded UI with the classic Tweeten square UI.
• User columns now show the user’s profile picture on the navigation instead of an icon.
• You can now display profile pictures for each column on the navigation.
• Tweeten can now automagically detect when it’s off-screen, and reposition itself.
• Always On Top mode now notifies you when it's enabled/disabled.
• Tweeten's Settings window now automagically repositions itself when it's off-screen, or partially cut off.

Tweeten 4.3.3

This release of Tweeten includes updated Electron, better fixes for the new TweetDeck dark blue theme, ability to disable super powers, and some minor tweaks to prepare for the new Chrome extension release.

Tweeten 4.3.2 is rolling out today with a bunch of fixes:

• Filters: We have fixed a bunch of issues related to how Tweeten manages filters in order to improve stability and reliability of the feature. Things should be much better. Sorry for the inconveniences caused by the recent updates.
• The custom title bar now works better when the app is full-screened.
• Added a couple of visual cues to the loading screen to better indicate when something is wrong, or when your network is potentially slow.
• The minimum width of the app now correlates with the column width setting.
• Added a new mode which will help us debug issues more quickly and easily.
• The donation dialog no longer opens up instantly for brand new users -- instead, it will only open up after you use Tweeten for a few times.
• Minor UI fixes

Tweeten 4.3.1

Happy New Year! Tweeten 4.3.1 is now out, here's what's new:

• Syncing: Tweeten now syncs your theme, font, and some other settings across devices and TweetDeck without you needing to do anything. It's that simple. (#48, #47)
• Filters: Your TweetDeck/Twitter filters now automatically sync on Tweeten, which means your TweetDeck filters will no longer get destroyed as you start using Tweeten. EXTREMELY sorry about that! (thx @pixeldesu)
• GIF previews are no longer huge, so you can now actually close them. Plus, hitting the Esc key now automatically closes the preview.
• Fixed an issue where the new loading screen would be stuck for some users.
• Fixed an issue which prevented Windows 10 users from closing media previews using the close icon.
