Tweeten 4.3

Tweeten 4.3 is out today. It has a lot of new things. For real.

• Windows 10 users, Tweeten now has a beautiful new titlebar: it works exactly like the default Windows titlebar, but it looks way better than ever before. Not a fan? Go to settings and feel free to disable it.
• Flexible Columns were a terrible idea: With 4.3, we are bringing back the old way of configuring the width of columns, plus with the ability to enter any value you want.
• Settings 1.5: Completely re-built how Tweeten's settings are handled. This means 1) you no longer have to manually restart the app when tweaking settings like hardware acceleration, tray options, etc. 2) the design of the settings dialog has been slightly tweaked. 3) that's it.
• Threads: Tweet threads now have a better UI on TweetDeck, making it easier to go through tweets on a thread that you are probably wasting time reading.
• Say goodbye to the TweetDeck loading screen: you will only see the Tweeten loading screen from now on, rather than seeing the TweetDeck loading screen along with the Tweeten loading screen. It's much nicer now.
• Design: As usual, lots of minor UI-related fixes throughout the app

Tweeten 4.2.2

Tweeten 4.2.2. is out:

• Fixed an issue where GIF Search would remove the tweet that you are replying to after adding a new GIF
• Added option to donate via Patreon
• Fixed an issue where the like/favorite icon's placement would be visually incorrect
• Fixed an issue where the columns on modals wouldn't take up the full space

Tweeten 4.2.1

Tweeten 4.2.1 is out, here's what's new:

• GIF Search: Now you can directly upload GIFs to Tweeten without needing to save them to your device and manually upload to your tweets. Thanks to https://github.com/eramdam/BetterTweetDeck.
• Flexible Columns: Reset all of your column sizes, and bring them back to their original size with a single click.
• Improved profile UI
• Improved UI for Retweet, Like from accounts, Follow from accounts modals
• Removed Old Reply Style feature
• Fixed a bug where the columns would move slightly after the app loads

Tweeten 4.2

Tweeten 4.2 is here:

• GIF Search: itshappening.gif. We have completely rebuild the GIF search feature from the ground up to offer a cleaner and much faster experience.
• Flexible Columns: You can now input any width for each column on Tweeten's Flexible Columns feature from the Settings page. This means you can now have a column that's only 50 pixels wide or a column that's 2000 pixels wide.
• 280 characters: Tweeten now lets you bring back the numerical character count for tweets.
• UI: Bunch of fixes throughout the app
• Donations: You can now donate and support Tweeten's development. There's a new Donate item in the context menu and a Donate modal on the initial start only.

Tweeten 4.1 is here! Here's what's changed:

• Flexible Columns: You can now set different sizes for every column. Use the new settings UI to make your columns bigger or smaller, and see the changes in real-time.

Tweeten 4.0.3

Tweeten 4.0.3 is now out with some fixes and improvements:

• Improved the hotifixing system to be theme-aware
• Fixed an issue which caused the dark theme to break in some parts
• Fixed the Tweeten icon on Mac, should show up properly now
• Fixed an issue where you a column's styling would break for a split second when going back from like and RT actitives
• Fixed the issue which caused developer windows to open up in the welcome page

Tweeten 4.0.2

I'm releasing Tweeten 4.0.2 today with some improvements to the onboarding experience. Tweeten now supports backup codes for those with two-factor authentication enabled, and more:

• Tweeten now lets you reset your Twitter password from within the app
• Backup codes for two-factor authentication are now support
• Fixed the copy/paste issue for the input fields on the login page for Mac users
• The alerts in the login window are less obtrusive now
• Improved the loading animation and the login window animations
• Tweeten no longer looks bigger than other app icons on your Mac's dock
• Improved Windows Store detection for auto updates
