Windows

Some issues installing the client on a windows machine can be prevented by following the steps below

  • Make sure you are using the latest version of setuptools pip install setuptools --upgrade
  • Try using easy_install to install pyopenssl. This will fetch the binary and can sometimes prevent issues like this
  • Make sure you are running the setup.py as the administrator
