High CPU Usage when Nyrna is open #163
Comments
That's very odd! Does this still happen after restarting your computer? Also would be helpful to know what your OS (operating system) is:
|
Yes, still happens after restarting. I am using Windows 10 22H2, Nyrna version 2.7.0, with installer |
Please try updating Nyrna to v2.11.1. |
I just updated to that version. The problem continues, but this time the
program does not show anywhere in Task Manager.
EDIT: The problem goes away when I turn off the Auto Refresh option. I guess it is really stressing out my CPU, which is odd. Perhaps because my CPU is old (i5-3330) or it could be a different reason

Windows is not very efficient in how it handles these API calls, so it is definitely only recommended to use auto refresh if your computer is a bit newer - or to at least increase the interval so it isn't doing so as frequently. Hope that helps 💙 :) |
Please help! I would really love to use this program but I can't because it slows the rest of my computer down. I get around 75% CPU usage from Nyrna alone when it is open.
