in the documentation there are many words used to refer to the same thing... messages created to notify about file state changes.
it is called:

  • post
  • notification
  • advertisement
  • announcement
  • message
  • dispatch

We should have a single term. suggesting "notification message" to replace all occurrences of the words above when referring to ... um... notification messages.

in french "message d'annonce" ?

I think that makes the most sense in French (and english as well).
