API Maintainers will announce MIP status updates here

Given that we haven't heard any community objections, the API Maintainers have moved MIP-1 to Accepted status.

Because this was our first MIP to dogfood the process guidelines, we are already well under way on the implementation.

📣 MIP-1, which introduces an NFT extension for wallet_watchAsset, has now been moved to Implemented status and is available in the MetaMask Extension.
Use of this API with type set to ERC721 or ERC1155 is considered experimental and subject to change.

Additional documentation on the changes to and usage of wallet_watchAsset will be posted shortly, but developers can start experimenting with it now.

We've added a HowTo for "Displaying NFTs" (ERC-721 & ERC-1155 tokens).
The interactive API reference for wallet_watchAsset has also been updated to cover the experimental addition for type = ERC721 or ERC1155

MIP-2 has been set as Last Call. We expect to accept and implement it shortly unless we receive comments on it.

📣 MIP-2, which introduces a wallet_revokePermissions JSON-RPC method, has been accepted and implemented in the MetaMask Extension (as of v11.7).
Use of this API is considered experimental and may be subject to change.

The eth_sign method will be completely discontinued once implemented, which may happen anytime within the next 60 days.
