Hi Huub. MS Store will not accept RSA cards, its territorially limited. Is there another way to buy CNCL? More than happy enough to pay.

Ta. Jim

Jim,

I do not know where RSA cards are accepted.

You could try the Microsoft Store link but I expect you will be rerouted to your country store.

In the Microsoft Store App, the is a button to ask for help. Give it a try and let me know if you succeeded.

Regards, Huub

Jim,
Did Microsoft solve the RSA card problem in the Microsoft store?

Jim,
The only way to get a windows app installed is by buying it in the Microsoft store. I have send you an invitation to collaborate in an empty reposititory. It makes it possible to share private information to solve your problem. Accept the invitation so I can contact you.
regards, Huub

Jim,
Git reports your invitation as pending but maybe git is a bit slow.
In the repository you find a text file explaining how to get a license.
Regards, Huub

Jim,

Ok I think im in now.

I thought all was OK now!

According to GIT, your invitation to collaborate for my empty repository was not accepted and has expired. Shall I send a new invitation?
Regards, Huub

Would the Mega cope with a 100 pulse per rpm signal for the synch (probe)

No, i think 16 pulses per revolution will be the max, also depending on the RPM.
I run my larger lathe with 4 pulses per revolution, the mini lathe with 8. More pulses/rev will not significantly increase accuracy because you can't accelerate/decelerate the moving mass of the saddle that fast. Even if you could decelerate the saddle really fast, then backlash would influence the result unless you have a backlash free setup.

I general, I do threading at 300 RPM. Faster RPM would result in to much load for the small diameter stock (fine pitch) and coarse threads would result in to much load on the tool post due to the high feed (Z) and the large depth op cut.
