The Game will most likely be a top-down 2D RPG with the usual classic features such as looting, leveling up, customization and combat.

In order to keep the project from not being too large in scope, there probably will not be a classed based system - but rather the player may choose from a tree of abilities using skill points which may unlock a new branch of skill, which once again can unlock further skills and so on... This style of approach is similiar to how the leveling up system in Skyrim works.

Graphics and Shaders

In order to try create an immersive environment, shaders will be used to create effects such as:

  • Dark areas / night time
  • Stormy weather with lightning effects
  • Sunny weather with possible bloom effects

Some other effects involving graphical techniques include:

  • 'Dizzy/Confused' effect when the player has been poisoned
  • 'Hurt' effect when the player is close to death
  • Dreamworld effect such as increasing saturation or inverting colors
