Linux Gtk support #41

This would require someone to first implement a React Native environment targeting Linux. Are you aware of any such effort underway? |
There was some project a while back for ubuntu from canonical https://github.com/CanonicalLtd/react-native. And gnome project has support for Gjs |
You all please let me know whats going on OK

Okay, but why not QT, it already is cross-platform library and not specific to Gnome apps, which don't integrate very well into another DEs. |
Ubuntu has decided to use gnome. So gtk will become the de-facto Linux ui
toolkit. And it will look native to these distros. Ubuntu currently relies
on qt for ui, but will prefer gtk for next Ubuntu versions.
Qt has complicated licensing for commercial use. On the other hand gtk does
not.

Unless/until there is a React Native port for Linux Gtk, ReactXP won't support it natively. You can, of course, use a web wrapper solution like Electron to host a web client on Linux. |
