Can you please enable additional features to ensure that end users have 'App Lock' forced ON within the Microsoft Authenticator.

Under Azure Active Directory, Security, Authentication Methods, Microsoft Authenticator:
There are the following options:

  • Require number matching for push notifications
  • Show application name in push and passwordless notifications
  • show geographic location in push and passwordless notifications.

Can you ADD the option for

  • Require 'App Lock' to be enabled for push and passwordless notifications.

This would help to meet requirements such as:
Multi-factor authentication uses either: something users have and something users know, or something users have that is unlocked by something users know or are.

@k0rtina Would you please clarify where you are suggesting the 'App lock' feature be added? I am not the author of the Microsoft Authenticator app documentation, so I'm not familiar with the content. Thanks!

This feedback was submitted on Azure AD "get help" article, but it's about Authenticator. I tried to track down what the customer is looking for but came up blank. Customer never provided context.

Is there a status on a policy to require App Lock turned on in Intune? For passwordless auth on devices, I'm experiencing a business requirement to require this as a second security factor in the event that a device is picked up by an individual who is not the owner while the device is unlocked?
