Custom RBAC Roles for Azure Lighthouse CSP Partners

Is there any future release of Azure Lighthouse that will allow the use of custom RBAC roles. I have a requirement for a Virtual Machine Contributor to be able to snapshot the server prior to applying Windows Updates. This cannot be achieved currently through the existing RBAC roles within Azure Lighthouse.

Hi @andrewsturner783 - Thanks for your question. While I don't have any information to share about future plans, support for custom roles has been suggested in our UserVoice feedback forum: https://feedback.azure.com/forums/922753-azure-lighthouse/suggestions/38901802-add-support-for-custom-roles
The team reviews these regularly to help plan new/enhanced features, so please consider upvoting this suggestion and feel free to submit any other feature requests there.

@andrewsturner783 Responsible feature / product team has confirmed the same that feature ask of custom RBAC roles is in current backlog and right now there is no timeline on the release. But has informed that this scenario will be added to the list of custom RBAC roles requirement. Meanwhile you may upvote the ask in above mentioned UserVoice feedback forum to provide more data to us to prioritize the asks.

At this point it appears that there's no edits or updates needed for the referred Azure documentation so closing this issue for now. If there are further questions regarding this matter or questions or feedback on the referred Azure documentation, please do let us know and we will gladly continue the discussion.
