Attach a day-based calendar to a fixed asset book (India)

This procedure walks you through attaching a day-based calendar to a fixed asset book. Before you attach a calendar to a fixed asset book, you must set up a fiscal calendar with Day based selected as the Calendar type on the Fiscal calendars page. The demo data company used to create this procedure is INMF.

  1. Go to Fixed assets > Setup > Books.
  2. Click New.
  3. In the Book field, type a value.
  4. In the Description field, type a value.
  5. In the Depreciation profile field, enter or select a value.
  6. In the Calendar field, enter or select a value.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Close the page.
  9. Go to Fixed assets > Fixed assets > Fixed assets.
  10. In the list, click the link in the selected row.
  11. Click Books.
  12. Click New.
  13. In the Book field, enter or select a value.
  14. Click Save.
