This procedure walks you through attaching a day-based calendar to a fixed asset book. Before you attach a calendar to a fixed asset book, you must set up a fiscal calendar with Day based selected as the Calendar type on the Fiscal calendars page. The demo data company used to create this procedure is INMF.
- Go to Fixed assets > Setup > Books.
- Click New.
- In the Book field, type a value.
- In the Description field, type a value.
- In the Depreciation profile field, enter or select a value.
- In the Calendar field, enter or select a value.
- Click Save.
- Close the page.
- Go to Fixed assets > Fixed assets > Fixed assets.
- In the list, click the link in the selected row.
- Click Books.
- Click New.
- In the Book field, enter or select a value.
- Click Save.
