System Requirements for [!INCLUDEprod_long] April '19
The following sections list the minimum hardware and software requirements to use or connect to [!INCLUDEprod_short] online, and to install and run [!INCLUDEprod_short] on-premises (version 14). Minimum means that later versions (such as SP1, SP2, or R2 versions) of a required software product are also supported.
Note
[!INCLUDEprodsetup] installs some software if it isn't already present in the target computer. For more information, see the "Additional Information" section for each component.

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7.2.
The Dynamics NAV Client is available in a 32-bit version and 64-bit version. On a 32-bit Windows operating system, the 32-bit version is run. On a 64-bit Windows operating system, the 64-bit version is run by default; however, you can also run the 32-bit version if it's required.
[!INCLUDEprodsetup] can only install the Excel Add-in if Excel is present on the target computer.
Outlook synchronization isn't supported on 64-bit versions of Office.

Report Builder for SQL Server 2016 (cumulative update 23 and earlier). Report Builder 15.0 for SQL Server 2019 (cumulative update 24 and later)
With a cumulative update 24 and later installation, if Report Builder for SQL Server 2016 is already installed, it will be updated to Report Builder 15.0. Note If you install update 24 or later on a computer which also runs an earlier Business Central of Dynamics NAV version, you will no longer be able to use Report Builder in the [!INCLUDEnav_dev_short] of the older version.
If the [!INCLUDEnav_dev_short] and [!INCLUDEserver] are on the same computer, then only a 64-bit operating system is supported.
* Starting with cumulative update 24 (version 14.25), SQL Server Native Client is no longer installed by Setup or included on the installation media (DVD). This change doesn't affect the [!INCLUDEnav_dev_long] installation if you upgrading from an earlier version, because the prerequisite should already have been installed. However, for a clean installation of the [!INCLUDEnav_dev_long], you'll have to manually install the SQL Server Native Client; otherwise, you may experience problems connecting the [!INCLUDEnav_dev_long] to the database. [!INCLUDEprodsetup] installs the following software if it isn't already present on the target computer:

[!INCLUDEprodsetup] installs the following software if it isn't already present on the target computer:
SQL Server 2016 Express (64-bit edition). If the operating system on the target computer does not support SQL Server 2016 Express, Setup displays a pre-requisite warning. In this case, you should exit Setup and then update the operating system on the computer to one that does support SQL Server 2016 Express. Then run Setup again.

When using the Outlook Web App (OWA), your computer must be running a supported browser listed in the [!INCLUDEnav_web_md] Requirements.
Supported Operating Systems
When using OWA for iPad, OWA for iPad, or OWA for Android, your mobile device must use a supported Operating System listed in [!INCLUDEnav_uni_app_md] Requirements.

2 AD, IFD, and OAuth types are supported with on-premises version of Dynamics 365 Sales. OAuth and Office 365 (legacy – basic) and Office 365 (modern – MFA) authentication are supported for online versions of Dynamics 365 Sales.
