Goals

JarSplice allows merging jar files and native libraries into a stand-alone executable jar, or GNU/Linux, Windows, or Mac OS executable files.

History

• The tool was originally published in The Ninja Cave, but it was abandoned by the original author in 2012, and left without a source code.
• Luis Quesada took the time to decompile it using JAD, and created the JarSplicePlus repository. This version added command line arguments, and several minor tweaks.
• In 2014 Ondřej Hruška forked the repo for further development.

License

The original author stated that the source is licensed under the terms of the BSD license.

Although the source was never released, it'll continue to be licensed that way.
