I noticed that, in some cases, the MiniZinc 2.8.1 compiler emits considerably more constraints than the 2.7.6 compiler:

Problem Instance 2.7.6 2.8.1
GridColoring 10_5 825 878
stochastic-fjsp fjsp-a1-s5_fjsp-t8-j2-m3-a1_det 479 584
tc_graph_color k10_34 1787 1837

The instances are from past MiniZinc challenges and they were flattened for Gecode.

Of course Gecode's MiniZinc binding might have changed from 2.7.6 to 2.8.1 but the issue is the same for Yuck and Yuck's binding has not changed.
