Network Connectivity

There is a lot of network to-ing and fro-ing bit-baking a yocto image. One thing that can put a spanner in the works is doing the build behind a firewall, particularly corporate firewalls with proxy servers and rules. If a build stumbles because some network resource can't be reached or accessed, see if the logs indicate proxies were used, and if they are set correctly. If possible, try the build again connected directly to the Internet.
