There are build errors with some DNS provider modules. Since I don't understand where to issue a pull request since golang is a little convoluted for me with all of its dependencies, I have created issues with the maintainers. For the current features, at least desec and porkbun have to be solved before it can be properly included in the OPNsense port build:
It seems like the offending combination is caddy-dns/vultr with the DNS Providers listed above. So I will omit vultr from the OPNsense build and stop to offer it until it can be build again. I'm putting priority on the plugins above in this matter.
* Update make.conf
As explained here:
Monviech/os-caddy-plugin#102
Change the priority to desec and porkbun instead of vultr, since they have been especially requested in past issues of os-caddy-plugin.
The issue stems from vultr having different libdns dependencies than the other modules, making the build fail if it's included with certain other combinations of modules (e.g. desec).
* Update make.conf
Remove mention of vultr, will be tracked independently if its fixed in the future
STEP 1: Have a clean build of the caddy binary with all needed modules and extensions in the OPNsense Ports:
It seems like the offending combination is
caddy-dns/vultr
with the DNS Providers listed above. So I will omit vultr from the OPNsense build and stop to offer it until it can be build again. I'm putting priority on the plugins above in this matter.STEP 2: Prepare os-caddy.pkg for opnsense plugins by completing all pending tasks.
STEP 3: Take the os-caddy.pkg and caddy.pkg live in a future OPNsense Version.
