Mission:Inspire students & women by teaching them on how to contribute to Open Source & Mozilla.
We’re working open in Guna to encourage girls/women and schools students to get involve into technical activities and build their future by contributing to Open Source & Mozilla. To achieve our mission we organize various technical events and promote Open Source & Mozilla in schools and universities all over the Guna region. The aim of our project MozGuna is to encourage students and girls/women in this region to get involved in a technical activities. MozGuna will become the first ever active technical community in Guna to create an impact. The community will be accessible to all and anyone can contribute.
Milestone: Building a platform for contributors
Building an appropriate platform where contributors/volunteers can directly get involved and contribute.
Create a GitHub Organization/Repository or A Blog.
Milestone: Making Connections
Get in touch with other developer communities.
Making contact with at least 1 University/School.
Milestone: Find a Sponsor
To organize first ever technical event in Guna region we have to find potential sponsors/funding source.
Make list of requirements/resources need to organize this event.
Create brochure/website for promotion.
Contact Sponsors who has previously sponsored such events in other cities.

Workshop organized for university students to brief about Mozilla & Open Source
Briefing about Open Source & contribution areas.
Opportunities for girls/women contributors in Open Source like Outreachy, RGSOC, GSSOC etc.
Making them aware about “MozGuna”

Casual Meetup of potential contributors from schools and universities
Arrange a venue for meetup
Add them to contributor channels
Detailed talk about the community and the project.
