Description

In the august of this year I started a Mentorship Program in Open Project with the Mozilla Foundation. To test and help me to understand well all the information learned in the program I started this project. The goal of this project is to make a little Guide to help the Open Community who works in the Universities to grow up and increase the partecipation of the University Students. The guide could also be translated by volunteers into other languages! Not all students in all the faculty can be able to know the big opportunity that have workin in Open Project, because they don't know what are these opportunities. So, this guide wants to help to community to know how can show all these opportunities. In this session I want that people know this project and can have the opportunities to use it or improve it.

Agenda

I want to talk with all people present and know if they are student or was be in the past. Next i want to know their story and if they in the past they have the opportunity to be part of an Open Community. So, I want to know how their are getting in touch with. Next, I want to describe the situation in Italy and my project and I why I think is important have a tool how this guide in Italy and in the World too.

Participants

An good accomodation would be some chairs with a projector. With 3 participants I will make an more inclusive talk, increasing the number I think that some people want to interact and other not. The format I think not change some. I want to try to talk with their and try to understand a little their story to interest they at the project.

Outcome

I think that the outcomes will be more feedback for this project and know if will be interesting and helpful for the communities who wants to grow up, and, understand if how I managing my project is correct or I need to change it. For the participants I think will be interesting to know that exist a project who have the goal to give some informations helpfull to increase the partecipation in Open Communities.
