The wrong window sizes are displayed for multiwindows in normal browsing after reopening the app if it's closed while in PB #2900

[Affected Versions]:

  • Firefox Reality 9 rc6 (abe931f) build.

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Oculus Quest - Android 7.1.1
  • HTC Vive Focus Plus - Android 7.1.2
  • Pico Neo 2 - Android 8.1.0

[Prerequisites]:

  • The headset is turned on and the browser is open.

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Open 3 windows in normal browsing.
  2. Click the Private Browsing button from the tray.
  3. Force close the app.
  4. Reopen the app and click the Private Browsing button to exit PB mode.
  5. Click the Hamburger menu and click the "Resize Window" button.
  6. Observe the resize options available.

[Expected results]:

  • The "1.5x", "1x" and "0.5x" sizes are available.

[Actual results]:

  • The "3x", "2x", "1x" and "0.5x" sizes are available for all windows.

[Notes]

  • On the Oculus devices the issue is reproducible even after quiting and resuming the app.
  • The issue is reproducible with 2 normal windows opened.
  • This issue is also reproducible in the 8.1 production version of the app.

I have verified this issue and it's no longer reproducible with the latest build from master version 10-140800017 (b484284). Now, the "1.5x", "1x" and "0.5x" sizes are displayed after reproducing the steps from the issue.

Tested on Oculus Quest (Android 7.1.1), HTC Vive Focus (Android 7.1.2) and Pico Neo 2 (Android 8.1.0).
