co2-monitor

Portable Co2 measurement device built with a MH-Z19 and a Raspberry pi 4, that gives a discrete mobile push notification when co2 levels become too high.

motivation

A study (yet to be replicated) suggests environments with high co2 ppm's severely damages cognitive function.

Current co2 measurement devices are inconvenient and come with a high social cost every time people ask about the device. This one clips to your bag, and alerts you through bluetooth rather than making loud noises.

Pictures of the first prototype consisting of a MH-Z19b, raspberry pi and giant battery. Next version will use an arduino and fit within a matchbox.
