Not working on Asus N53SV with Linux Mint 11 #32
Comments
What doesn't seem to work.. Did you have bumblebee installed previously??? |
No, didnt have bumblebee installed. When installed, started configuration and when selecting anyone of my laptop, seems to configure correct, but when start the testings says FAILED. Otherwise, script for disable nvidia and enable nvidia works correct. I think I've updated correctly the bug report from appication menu. |
could you please try: /usr/local/bin/ironhide-enablecard modprobe nvidia-current |
N53SV raul # /usr/local/bin/ironhide-enablecard What now? I'll try to configure again. raul@N53SV ~ $ sudo ironhide-configuration
Wow!! Now it seems that works like a charm, so, now nvidia it will turn on automatically when 3D is used? Thanks a lot! |
Well...it seemed to work, but not, now I cant disable the nvidia card, N53SV raul # ironhide-disablecard And power consumition shows that nvidia is still ON. |
Ok.. what profile did you choose in the installation??? |
With FlanMaster configuration didnt work, but with Pedro Abranches configuration works enabling-disabling nvidia, but not automatic. |
What do you mean with "not automatic"??? |
well, i said it wrong, when daoing the tests, when enabling the nvidia, the gears didnt appear, so I supose that it enables, but not works. How can I know if apart from be enagle (this i know wathing WATTS) is working (rendering images)? Thanks! |
Installs ok, but when configuring not working, I supose that its because I'm running linux mint and not Ubuntu, could someone help to run it in Mint 11 64bits?
Thanks!
