This was our project for Hashmite University. The purpose of this project was to explore a different design for a smart glasses deteciton system to assist the blind and visually impaired, by offering an open-source, modular, and cheap alternatives to commercial devices, by using Google Cloud AI services, as well as using open source and cheap hardware (Raspberry Pi Zero W).
if you want to develop or test this project by yourself, you must need a Google Cloud project, with Google Cloud Vision AI and Google Cloud Text-to-Speech. You also need to set the environment variable with your credentials file path
