Given a folder with a collection of images, catalog the imagery into like types (e.g., same color model, resolution and projection) and create and/or update image mosaic data stores for each catalog entry.

Use symbolic links to create a logical folder hierarchy to represent the contents of the image mosaics.

Added shell scripts used to create image catalogs and a the logical folder hierarchy in Linux using GDAL:
