Try the to use the Align View dropdown in the toolbar. The results are incorrect.

This still isn't working.

To reproduce:

  1. Load duku and enable a slice renderer
  2. Click Align View / +X
  3. Click Align View / Default -Z

The attached image is displayed, and there is a rotation about the Z axis:
