[Edit variable] Some sensors give the error “Must have units defined if a calibration is defined”

I don’t see it indicated in the “Edit Variable” dialog that a cal is defined. How can I tell this? Is the cal at the Sensor or DSM level?
Is the solution just to put “none” or “unk” in the Units field? If so, clarify this in the popup message.
