Software

The following software will be used during the OSS training and will be installed at one point or another.

All systems

• R version 3.1.x
• RStudio
• Java 7
• Python 2.7

For Mac OS X

• XCode Command Line Tools -- see instructions
• Optional: A programming text editor
  • Sublime Text. Install the version 3 beta for a free version.
  • [TextMate] (http://macromates.com/). The 2.0 preview is a free version.

For Windows

• Git for Windows
• Optional: A programming text editor
  • Sublime Text. Install the version 3 beta for a free version.
