To improve debugging and setting up lights, it would be nice to change the values in the universe directly, so that there is no need to actually create a fixture to change DMX values.

This is split from #110

In order to have no negative performance impact on  machines that have no idea what the universe is
even for, the auto-refresh is turned of for a newly generated universe.
