Epub/pdf XML load stuck "in progress"

The Humanities Open Book files are ready to be uploaded. I did a test load with one file this morning and it appears to be stuck at the "in progress" stage:

This particular file is representative of most files in this collection, in that it has an EPUB master file and a PDF derivative file, no TIFFs.

It does look like it mostly finished (metadata is complete, all download options are available), but nothing is happening in resque. It's possible I constructed the manifest incorrectly. There are technically no pages since this file has no TIFFs, so perhaps the "TRUE" marking the last page as the XML record is throwing off the loader?
