Full text search also part of advanced search?

Hi @PerrineGilloteaux ,

when I switch from the search on the main page to the advanced search, where do I enter the terms I entered on the main page? I miss a field full text search as part of the advanced search. Is it possible to add this? Goal would be to narrow down the search results from the main page by adding information in the advanced search.

Example: I searched for cell tracking on the main page and then, on the advanced search I would like to search for cell tracking and limit results to datasets.

Hi @haesleinhuepf , for now it is not possible. We wanted to restrain the advanced search to constrained vocabulary only. It happens that cell tracking is part of the operation http://biii.eu/all-content?type=All&field_has_function_target_id%5B%5D=4207&field_type_target_id=All , but the ideal search behaviour should indeed be discussed. This is something that would make more sense to have on image.sc as a discussion, what do you think? Making a poll at some point or something like that?

I'm having issues writing a tutorial about the advanced search beause it is quite unintuitive. How high would you estimate the effort for implementing this?

Actually was also mentionned here #144 -> so Yes I think we should add this free text field

@PerrineGilloteaux , how much effort do you think is necessary to make this happen? I think it's crucial to make the advanced search more useful.
