Resolving some spurious repo differences between gitlab and github #120

Due to a momentary git mistake, I introduced some spurious commits to GFDL's gitlab that now prevent pushing github master to gitlab master. Adding them to github here will make semi-automated mirroring feasible.

This is a workaround for being able to sync the gitlab with github. These commits seem to be no-content changes. Sorry for mucking up the git history here, I will be more careful from now on.
