QGIS version: 3.16.14-Hannover Hannover, 4279198632
OS version: Windows 10, 20H2
This message came right after CanFlood installation. I am not sure which version of CanFlood was installed as I just searched the plugin from the QGIS repository according to the Installation Instructions.

I actually have already installed 3.18.2 before 3.16.14 (which is the one tested based on the installation instructions). Both versions ended up with the same errors.
While I installed 3.16.14, 3.18.2 was not deleted from my computer so would you recommend me to uninstall both and only try 3.16.14 again?

I believe your issue is related to incompatible installations of QGIS, which they fixed a few months ago. The latest version of CanFlood should be run with QGIS 3.22.8 (described on the project page), which should avoid the issue you mention. Please advise if you're still having issues after installing on 3.22.8 (you shouldn't need to uninstall old QGIS versions).
