Version 0.2.0 Beta

Version 0.2.0 Beta is a limited beta release of the Building Electrical Efficiency Analysis Model (BEEAM), which is the working name for the Modelica library originally developed under the Energy Design and Scoping Tool for DC Distribution Systems project. BEEAM models the electrical efficiency of building electrical distribution systems using harmonic power flow. This release adds support for parameterized models and includes a demonstration model for co-simulation with EnergyPlus.

This limited beta release is intended for use primarily by the tool developers, team members, and project partners. Other users should be aware that this is an early beta with limited features and that the development team does not have resources to provide robust technical support.

Changes:

• Add parameterized version of AC/DC converter model
• Add cable models
• Improved initialization for faster and more consistent solver convergence
• Include fitted models for a few converters
• Include a demonstration model for co-simulation with EnergyPlus, with validation data from a laboratory experiment
