Issue overview

Additional warnings resulting from #6753 (fan heat sizing changes) highlight some problems with some of the example files.

  • 5ZoneWarmestVFD - The supply fan high pressure and low efficiency result in a large (>5C) fan deltaT which now results in a coil leaving air temp of 7C which is lower than the inlet chilled water temp. Not sure what the intent of the fan was here - that much deltaT seems unreasonable.
    ** Warning ** SizeWaterCoil: Coil="MAIN COOLING COIL 1", Cooling Coil has leaving air temperature > entering water temperature.

  • CoolingTower_FluidBypass, CoolingTower_TwoSpeed_MultiCell, CoolingTower_VariableSpeed_MultiCell, EMSDemandManager_LargeOffice, EMSReplaceTraditionalManagers_LargeOffice.
    ** Warning ** In calculating the design coil UA for Coil:Cooling:Water MAIN COOLING COIL 1 ** ~~~ ** the coil bypass factor is unrealistically large;

  • RefBldgSmallHotelNew2004_Chicago - ** Warning ** For object = Coil:Cooling:DX:SingleSpeed, name = "GUESTROOM209_212 PTAC DXCOIL" ** ~~~ ** Calculated outlet air relative humidity greater than 1. The combination of

  • _SmallOffice_Dulles - ** Severe ** CheckWarmupConvergence: Loads Initialization, Zone="SOUTHZONE_1STFLOOR" did not converge after 25 warmup days.
