PAT 2.1.0 analysis error w/ no variables for diag #2585

When using diagonal sampling, if you don't have any variables specified, PAT does not complain and simply gives "analysis error" when running the workflow. It's impossible for a user to figure out what the problem is. It'd be helpful if PAT could catch this and give a more helpful error message.

Nevermind... diag can work with no variables. This is not the cause of my failed analysis runs.
