In Nagios XI (5.6.6) the NagVis editor will not let you initially set the relative position of a Line object endpoint against a Shape object - the Shape object does not get highlighted to indicate that it is set against it.
However, once you manually add it to the x and y coordinates of the Line object, it will subsequently work as expected in the NagVis editor, once you move away from the map and go back to it.
