We need to update v8 version to 5.4. or 5.5 so we can:

  • enable better ES6 support
  • get better performance
  • better chrome dev tools integration

Current version of v8 is 5.2.361.

Edit: mksnapshot tools are build for mac and linux. Once we create the windows binaries, we'll be able to create snapshots on the user machine.
