I'm just a random user, but I suspect this may be caused by translation.

Asking for a feature to be included "In the next update" and "I await your response" doesn't exactly sound like a polite request from a patient user, but more like a demand with an urge to be addressed as soon as possible.

However, it's also possible that those few people who work on KISS simply have other things on their priority list.
