Highrift
The ‘Last of the Kingdoms’ still sits upon its elevated perch, looking down on all others, at least that’s how most others see them. In truth, Highrifters are taught to ‘rise above’ petty arguments, see the brighter side of things, and generally have a more positive outlook on life. This of course, annoys most other citizens of Vanha. It has recently changed to the dragon/steel type for its gym. Striding to rise above all others within Vanha is a way of life for those that reside here. Highrift has the most citizens per city that become warriors and fight to protect The Bastion.
Towering above the ocean, Highrift oversees a Taiga and gravel beach, and is surrounded by hills of brown and black clay. There are many area's unique to Highrift, such as a bubbling lava pit in the lofty building home to the gym, a large open-ocean cave underneath the town, rickety wooden perches above the ocean, and one wooden bridge allowing Highrift to be accessible from below.
Highrift is home to the Dragon/Steel type gym, located in the giant building in town. A player must also have the Dendo Badge from Tesla's gym to challenge Highrift's gym. Players who managed to defeat one of the gym leaders here will receive the Doragon Badge, which is needed to enter the Elite 4.
Dragon type Pokémon are weak against Dragon, Ice, and Fairy attacks. Steel type Pokémon are weak against Fighting, Ground, and Fire types. Keep that in mind when building a team to take on the gym.
