xdrip plus 14 day libre calibration issues #1249
Comments
I have a similar experience, but can add the US libre 14 reader seems to always be a bit more accurate than xdrip with OOP algorithm. Facebook is full of similar observations. Just having the ability to scale rather than calibrate would be a definite improvement. Seems the inaccuracy is somewhat consistent over sensor life. |
I switched over to tomato. It allows me to calibrate and not use the oop
algorithm. Works great and is accurate. I dont think the instructions are
clear with xdrip with oop yet.

Thanks for the tip, I've migrated to Tomato. Would prefer Xdrip to allow calibrating as I view this as a safety issue (Tomato calibration is great - and much better for users). However Tomato Widget and Watchface don't update on my Android phone/watch. Trying the beta version - but don't see any way to fix...do they work for you? |
I'm not using tomato on a watch.Just sending data to my ph. Looking to get
a watch as soon as I figure out the androidaps for closed looping. This to
me is a game changer.

Did you wait an hour before starting the sensor?
For an alternative way of connecting xdrip and fs2 please see:

I have running the 00palgorithm app
I followed xdrip instructions as to use libre patched, checkmarked 00palg

Hello all. I have been experiencing problems with calibrations with weeks settling for 50 or more points of deviation. Yes I have stopped sensor and reset calibrations each time. If I calibrate, the next 5 minutes when the sensor reports data the raw data is accepted and I get two arrows downs. I then get adjusted to the raw values from libre. Conversly, using tomato app the calibration take and I get pretty good values when not using xdrip. I have changed lots of values under calibration in xdrip. Im using miao miao 2 with OOP algorithm to communicate. Using the xdrip build from the feb 19 2020 although I have tried nightl for a while. Here is a screen show. #
