Writing Changelogs

The changelog system uses Pango Markup to format and alter the visual layout of the text displayed in the changelog window. For reference, all available tags are listed here.

Here's a few things to note:

• Single linebreaks are not preserved. This is to allow the text widget to handle text wrapping itself.
• This behaviour can be overridden by putting two spaces in front of the line.
• The asterisk character (*) is transformed into a dot character (•) if it is the first character on a line, ignoring whitespace.
• HTML-style links are not supported.
